Well some of you might think the wife and I are fishing crazy... Well you are right. At last count we have been out on the boat 50 times this season. Started the season at Jackson Lake, Prewett and North Sterling. Made a trip to Blue Mesa and green Mtn. Fished Carter lake several times this season also. And there has been trips where we did not take the boat Like Joe Wright and chambers lake. We have fished local ponds and have enjoyed the summer. BIG thanks to the great gifts the Lord above gives us we have now up graded and now have an RV. Sure beats tent camping LOL LOL And it makes for even better days out at those far away places we only dream about.

I had the privilege of attending the Fly fishing trade show at the Denver convention center this week. Amazing to see all the new technology that's going into today's rods, reels and other gear.

It's also amazing to me how much less things cost at wholesale. I understand that dealer networks are an effective way to distribute a product and one of the only ways to get a product widespread awareness and placement, but the money we could save if fishing companies all sold their products direct astounds me.

I had the priviledge of taking a group of young men from Alabama fishing in Rocky Mountain National Park this weekend. I got to spend 3 days and 3 nights with these guys and had an amazing time. Every one on the trip (9 or so total) managed to catch their first trout, and most of them landed quite a few.

kids fishing day at Wacker ponds Snyder, CO. 06/07/2008.
DOW put on a kids fishing day there. This was a great time for all. Wished someone who "FLY FISHED" would of been there.
I did the teaching on casting along with my wife. This was alot of fun.
