Merry Christmas TroutShouters!  Here's to a slow-paced, relaxing and rejuvenating Christmas break. 

About a week ago we added a couple new items to the homepage.  One is a 'recent user photos' block and the other is the 'fishing video of the week'.  I'll be adding a new video roughly every week.  If you have a video you'd like to see on the homepage, visit my profile page, http://www.troutshout.com/dannyp , and send me a private message.

We're continually adding new features to the site, expanding the ways you can stay connected with your TroutShout fishing community.  Thanks for your involvement and support.

If you've been to your profile page ("My Account"), you may have noticed a new section on your profile page called "Your Buddies' Latest Photos".

This displays the three most recent photos across all of your buddies. Now you'll see new buddy photos right on your profile page, without having to repeatedly visit your buddies' albums.

You may also have noticed the text-based google ads in the right rail and the footer of the site. These recent additions will help cover hosting / other costs, and will allow us to keep troutshout.com free of charge to its members. You may even find them relevant and helpful, as they are designed to be relevant to the content on our site.

The value (usefulness) of troutshout.com is directly related to the number of active users we have.

Even though the site is still in beta, you can tell your friends about the site and have them start posting, uploading photos, using the forums etc.

If you're one of the users of our young site, you may have noticed some intermittent site behavior.  We're transitioning to a new web hosting provider; one that meets the needs of this site better.
